Toughened glass is a life saver.

The boy got up from his desk, turned left and walloped into the sliding patio doors which lead into the conservatory. Some eejit, (look in a mirror) had closed the doors to prevent the hound from spreading her fur.

Bent my glasses, bent my nose and made the damaged disks in my cerviacal spine use many wee sweary words. The image on the glass is of the right hand side of my face hitting the door at full tilt, amazing how much grease is exuded by the skin.

I placed the red pitot tube cover on the glass to remind my dull self to be more careful. Next week we shall purchase a small piece of coloured glass to prevent further "issues."

(A pitot tube allows dynamic air to enter an aircraft pressure system for instrumentation, balanced by static air pressure this then allows measurement of airspeed etc.)
