The best of days

I have thought long and hard about this.

Do I want to post a photo of Mam?  Will she be upset that she no longer looks like Deanna Durbin?
But we had such a lovely day and I just love this photo.

A visit to see Auntie E. She's not a real auntie, but one of those people who have always been in my life. Lovely childhood memories. There were a few tears , but more laughter and the best day all round.

Mam had to have chips when she got home  - after two lunches. I wonder where I get it from?
