Mini North Run

Izzy took part in the Mini North Run today, the day before the big one. What a great, happy event it was down on the Newcastle Quayside. The run is just 1.5km for 3-8 year olds and Izzy did it in around 8 minutes - not bad for a 6 year old (a competitive 6 year old) with Karl accompanying.
At the same times the City Games were taking place with various Olympic athletes and we soaked up the atmosphere whilst Izzy and Karl enjoyed their post race pasta!
