Porty People and Places
This is a Porty person walking with me from Dysart to Aberdour. A 13.5 mile hike along the Fife Coastal path. This view shows the distant view of Edinburgh through the railway arch on the part of the path that leads onto Burntisland beach. The weather for walking was perfect. The views breathtaking. The train home was a welcome respite after all those ups and downs of the coastal paths. The weather for tomorrow, from all reports , will be very different hence the reason we were out and about today.
We saw seals basking on the rocks west of Kirkaldy. A squaking flock of heron distracted us as we descended into Aberdour. A lone deer stood sentinel on the hill above Inverkeithing as we headed home across The Forth.
