Caleta de Velez is a less busy resort than others that can be found along the coast and has no high-rise hotels like Torre Del Mar that can be seen in the distance. It tends to be a holiday destination for Spaniards and only has a handful of good fish restaurants situated along the beach. It is a good place to be.
