Weaving with leaves

Another of my wife's creations. This is a detail from a floristry arrangement she made this week. These woven leaves form an intriguing frame.

We picked the last of the plums from our tree this morning - another 10kg, and this must be the 5th or 6th batch we've picked. It has certainly been a bumper crop. We are also collecting pears at the moment, but it can be quite hazardous working near the pear tree: it tends to bomb passers by with heavy fruit dropped from a great height! The pears are a little misshapen and the skins are scarred, but the fruit inside is excellent.
