Jo Nesbo

An early start this morning for the journey home from Amalfi. Arrived just in time to do a bit of unpacking, change , then off to see and hear Jo Nesbo who is featured in the current Stirling "Bloody Scotland" book festival. A packed Albert Hall showed the popularity of the writer who appaently sells a book every 23 seconds . He explained some of his early life including having aspirations as a footballer, being part of a rock group and earning a living as a stockbroker. His first Harry Hole novel was written when he was 37. An interesting event and insight to a writer and quite a coup for Stirling!
