La Cite

David and Margaret took us to to La Cite to explore, absorb and digest.

It has been the setting for many films, but disney it aint.

The Ecole musee was fun and enlightening. Who would have guessed that French kids needed to know how alcohol affects the body and can make you look like Albert Edward Ladysmith Steptoe? According to the poster in the classroom, it can!

I sent the boys a postcard of it so they can remember this when they return to university.

Lunch was at La Ronde, sat underneath a cover of Mulberry tree branches. The Cassoulet was very filling and would have been for 3 people never mind little old me. The Kir.....ah the kir.

A relaxing afternoon and they tried to feed us more food at night.

I slept very well, I think.
