Sunset

A lovely evening. I'd already taken Ollie for a good walk, but we had to go out again when I saw the sunset. It was so still, flat calm and a lovely peaceful end to the day.

This morning I took a neighbour into the local Macmillan unit for his chemotherapy treatment. He has always been a big strong man and the sort of chap everyone would ask to help them, now everyone is rallying round helping him. While I was waiting for him I went to see my elderly friend in the old people's home. She is amazing, going from strength to strength and now hoping to get back to her own house! Restores your faith in human kind!
