Cherry blossom celebration

The energetic Takumi Drum Group performed at the cherry blossom celebration at Halswell Quarry Park today. It was in the Japanese Garden within the park.

The cherry blossoms are fully in bloom and are a marvellous sight. Christchurch people were invited to picnic under the blossom trees and watch the entertainment.
