Sunday Stroll

After church, I drove round to Fintry Bay and walked north to the slip. I had an audio book to listen to, so wasn't overly concerned when the sky suddenly went dark and it poured - there I was in my fleece and not a water[roof in sight. Once wet, it didn't matter!!!

I took many shots of oyster catchers, gulls, lichens, rocks and some yachts.

I sat on a flat sandstone rock with a seat carved into it with my knitting and spent an hour in the warmth of the sun. The birds were wading and fishing in front of me and entertained me.

I went to the Community Garden to introduce myself and had a guided tour round. It's amazing and a wonderful place with a real heart in the community. I took an application from for a plot which won't be allocated until January 2014. The school also has a plot which needs a bit of TLC!

I just can't believe how much more time I have in my life!! There is just so many ways to use it!!
