Victorian Lifting Equipment

Today we have been to Bishop’s Stortford as Mr A fancied an outing. We had breakfast out and then had a walk by the river to take some pictures. Cake and coffee followed before we came home again.

I chose this picture, which Mr A tells me is a piece of 1850's lifting equipment for loading and unloaded barges.
