Red Kite Feeding Centre

Went out & visited the restaurant at Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest Centre.

As it was nearing the main event it started to get chilly but I thought it won't rain will it ? We walked down to the feeding site & it started to rain (a lot) & I am in shirt sleeves...silly old fool ! The mist came down and the view became difficult so sorry about the quality of shot....I got wet.

Basically what happens is someone tips a wheelbarrow load of meat off cuts on a piece of grass the other side of the lake & then amazingly more than 100 red kites arrive to feed.

The weather didn't help our visit but it was an amazing spectacle.
