Vernet Les Bains

This is a town in the Pyrenees where my one of my brothers lives. It is absolutely beautiful and I think I could quite happily live here. It is a thermal spa town and tourists have been coming here for a long time; a more famous visitor being Rudyard Kipling. Today we did a walk and visited a beautiful hotel (Hotel du Portugal) which was built in Vernet's hey day. It is now a hotel for the military.
