Ski Jumping

During our Big Adventure in the summer we visited Innsbruck, which for many reasons was not the highlight of the trip by any stretch of the imagination, but that is for another time (really really must backblip the rest of the trip soon), but anyway while we were there we climbed up to the top of the Innsbruck Ski Jump .

This isn't it, but it does feel almost as high when you are standing at the top and your 7 and 5 year olds are begging you to fling yourself down it in a rubber ring.

Another party today. This time the whole family got invited (how civilised is that!) so we all got celebrate with our oldest boy's best friend and his family by tubing at the dry ski slope in Alford.

It was wild, wet and windy at times but that only makes the kids more hyper, the tubes fly faster down the hill and the apris-ski cake and coffee taste even better.
