La lune

Fairly low-key day today. The weather was largely prohibitive. Did a lot of pottering around hoping the wind would drop. Looks like it's dropped a bit now.

The moon often prompts an association for me with the film version of Cyrano de Bergerac starring Gerard Depardieu. Many years ago I worked in a cinema where this film had a very long run. I practically learned how to speak french from watching that film.
