Silver on Gold

Knew there was a huge day of sport on so was awake very early.

The sunrise was the best part of the day: it was cold but really fresh and the stripes of silver , gold and blue were stunning.

GNR watching involved a *lot* of shouting to watch Mo Farah almost win but an amazing sprint saw him come second.

Then, and after months of waiting it was the World Triathlon series final.
I am sure you can only imagine how loud I was shouting when Jonny was sprinting for gold: I scared the cat and the neighbours ( I say neighbours, I mean the whole of Shipley)

I am absolutely gutted with the result but he raced so hard and second in the world is still brilliant. Silver is very underated......
