Dandelion

I walked round the garden during a lull in the rain this morning and spotted this beautiful late flowering Dandelion. I just had to photograph it as it looked so bright and cheerful on a dull, wet and windy day. Then I took some apples and plums to my son this afternoon and whilst it was still very windy but mostly dry we took Charlie for a nice long walk around the stubble fields which he and the children thoroughly enjoyed. There were loads of sloes, blackberries and rose hips so hopefully the wildlife will be adequately taken care of for a few months.
