Blowing out the candles

There was a birthday tea party on the day after Helena's real birthday, as it was a Saturday and many of the family could come.
A beautiful cake was made, of three tiers of sponge separated by fresh strawberries and other berries in beds of whipped cream, iced on top with a special feather pattern.
