Big Sur

Took a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway today, such amazing scenery. Stopped off at Cafe Kevah, and enjoyed a cold drink and some banana and walnut loaf out on the terrace in the warm sunshine. The views were tremendous. Lunch was a picnic, by Carmel beach and we just pottered around Carmel for the rest of the day. It's so mesmerising watching and listening to the Pacific surf crashing onto the shore. The wildlife too is so vast, we even saw a pair of dolphins, and how perfect to sit and watch the sunset at Carmel beach with pelicans flying across the horizon.
