Day 257 of 365 - A look down the Old Lane!

Welcome to day 257 of 365 (Finished image after Editing)

The original photo was taken in the the Cathedral Quarter in Coventry City Centre. The image is a view looking down the Historic Bayley Lane. On the left side of the image/lane you can see the Ruins of the Old Coventry Cathedral of St Michael. On the right side of the image/lane in the middle of the image, you can see the outer wall and the Main Great Hall window of St Mary's Guildhall. Finally on the far right side of the image/lane you can see a Timber Framed Tudor cottage.

As always the shot was taken with my iPhone 5. The photo was taken using the camera App VividHDR for iPhone with the Dramatic Setting. The original image can be found here: Unedited original Image.

First of all I used the app Mextures to add extra lighting and texture to the picture. The preset that I applied was a custom one that I have used on previous images. After that I used Distressed FX to add an extra layer of Overlay and Texture to the picture, the Overlay was called Stirred and the Texture called Lade. Finally I used PhotoToaster to apply a soft dark vignette, the Canvas texture and added the Shadow II frame.
