Foggy Fall Morning

Morning is wonderful. Its only drawback is that it comes at an inconvenient time of day. This is an old barn that I pass most mornings on my walk with the dogs. I have photographed it in all seasons, and in all types of light. It is always different.
Today, there was that predawn misty fog where the momentum of living has not quite captured the day.

I like early morning in the fall. Everyone is sleeping, all of their ideas and hopes and hidden agendas entangled in foggy dreams, leaving this world clear and crisp and cold as a bottle of milk in the fridge.
