IT Engineer

It's a long story, but I ended up with a brand new, surplus hard disk. I also had an old external disk drive which had failed, so I thought I would take the old disk out of the external drive enclosure and put the new disk in. I did that, but the computer was unable to access the new disk. I'm now unsure whether it is a problem with the new disk or with the interface on the external drive enclosure. No time to investigate further at the moment. I'm battling with a computer where the USB devices keep locking up.

I get a bit fed up being a computer/IT network engineer. I just want it all to work so I can get on and use it!
