Powys Castle

Dusted off our National Trust cards and had a lovely day out to Powys Castle near Welshpool. It is a beautiful place with it's warm coloured stone and terraced gardens which were full of flowers and the ancient toparied yew trees were amazing trimmed into huge cloud shapes that echoed the rolling hills all around.
Well worth a visit.
