Today we attend the funeral of Peter Eccles, the father of a good friend. A few of the Accrington Wild Swimmers were there to support Caroline, her very own team support. It was a grey day, lots of dramatic clouds, heavy rain and strong winds. It was so sad to see a friend grieving and it made me think about how it would feel to lose a member of my family. It is also important to be with your friends through the good times and the bad, and I know that we'll be there for each other in life's rollercoster.
