Brighton Pier

Met up with India this morning for breakfast on the beach. I enquired as to how her first night in the new house was - she said fine they watched films. I asked what she had eaten for tea (mothers do) and she replied - a Freddo Frog and cider! Shades of things to come. At least I know she had a decent breakfast this morning.

A fine, sunny day but very breezy. Temperature 13 C. When we got back to Cumbria it was 8C. Nice to get back - too many people and happenings for me in Rotherham and Brighton. Guess I am a country hick at heart.
