I'm spending far too much time hanging around motorway footbridges! I was set up with the tripod (though this one is handheld) and got chatting to a woman walking her dog. She was complaining about the litter and I complemented her on the dog. I usually take street pictures without asking, but it can feel a bit intrusive - though it is much easier to do when not in my own city. Well, I had my chance but didn't pluck up courage to ask her for a portrait. I was reading a blog (maybe even a blip entry) about that approach to street photography. I'll try and find it.
