Rotten Weather ?

Well, storms and fierce winds had been forecast, at least they were the last time we listened to the weather forecast, but we woke up this morning to blue skies, even if it was windy!

I can cope with that sort of rotten weather! A great breakfast, followed by chat time and the chance to affirm one another as we looked forward to the coming years. After checking out we were able to wander round the gardens for a while longer. From the picture you will see why we enjoyed the surroundings and the venue.

Then a game of croquet on the lawn, really must look up the rules before next time (!), before a leisurely and indirect drive home late this afternoon.
