Whakapapa

Before you ask how to say it, here's my attempt at phonetics for this Maori work. Fah-ka-pa-pa.

Anyway, I drove around the mountain, 35 minutes from yesterdays ski area, for another meeting. Several hours later I emerged, business concluded, and headed to the car to do my gear for a quick ski.

Sadly, by the time I got on the lift the scene was no longer this. Low visibility and drizzle. However I went up anyway, skied down, and then jumped in the car and headed to Wellington

4 hours later I was there, on a plane and then home. A successful trip.
