Fly the flag

Flags flying in Union Street.
The council first put them up last summer, and repeated the act this summer.
Looks fine, but it dirt of implies Aberdeen is a seaside, tourist town, as opposed to being the Oil Capital of Europe.
But then again, despite always being a business orientated city, it never has been able to make it's mind up as to the correct image it wants to project to the world.
Big (ish) city, small town mentality.
The jury is still out, and forever will probably remain so.
