Sphinx ligustri

Looking for a lost football we discovered a very late Privet Hawk moth caterpillar. Fat and happy chewing its way through the garden. Nearly 10 cm long. Apparently easiest to find by looking for 6mm long grenade-shaped droppings beneath privet bushes!
