Lucky Man

I have really very little to say tonight, I am extremely sad, my friend Kevin who I have shared a close friendship since we were born passed away this morning, I shared a little of his story in We Are Not In Kansas Anymore I spoke to his older brother with whom I have also shared a life long friendship and then I had to tell my poor mum who sadly broke down into tears as I spoke to her, her soft voice breaking along with a piece of her heart.

I had to get out and try and clear my head and as I drove I am not ashamed to say the tears were streaming down my face. Tonight's song says it all I am a lucky man to have had Kevin in my life, to have counted him as my friend and tonight my heart is breaking

The sun sets tonight and my world is a sadder dimmer place...
