Elsewhere, it was first day back to work after the long weekend and my e-mail box was bulging with largely useless information and lazy enquiries. Some kind colleagues had also filled my working day with 7hours of meetings and conference calls with no time to read and reply to said e-mails or take a lunch break or.......you get the picture. The day ended with some interesting news (for me) which I must share with others once the cloak of secrecy is lifted. The highlights of my day were the cycling home via Queeny's back garden and my fish pie which Owen declared delicious, after he'd covered it in tomato ketchup.
