People

People really are lovely. We were with some friends on Saturday and I mentioned that I'd asked R for some baking beans last year (I figured they'd be a cheap little present) but they never arrived.
Today I came home to find a tub of beans on my doorstep with a little note. It made me smile...and think I should make some pastry now.
