Splish

Alexander's granny Margaret came up to visit us and we went out for the day with her Auntie Edna (who lives just round the corner from my sister; bizarrely we have two other friends who live within a mile of there).

We went to St Mary's Lighthouse - Alexander wanted to climb to the top but I've got a certificate to say I never have to do it again - then we had afternoon tea, for lunch, Alexander ate a whole one himself and then demanded an ice cream. We made him walk on the beach in Cullercoats and build some sandcastles before he could have one. And very lovely it was too.
