Evora

Today we travelled inland to Evora one of the most important towns in the region. The influences of Moors & Romans can be clearly seen. At one time the region was ruled from here. As we wandered around we found many tourist shops with almost anything you could think of made of cork, we also found a sock shop which indeed did sell nothing but socks!
