As preparation for next weekend's postseason play offs, the London Mets under-13's played a couple of friendly games against a visiting team from Victoria, Canada today.

The Canadians brought a pretty good team and the first game was a bit of a walk-over for the visitors, but we really gave them a tough time in the second game, narrowly losing 3-2 after keeping them scoreless until the last inning. I don't think they've had such a close game against any of the other teams they've played on their tour of Britain and it was a really exciting game for the spectators to watch (and for us coaches too!). Our kids played fantastic baseball and should be in with a really good chance to make it through to the national finals.
