Any excuse will do

You know how it is when you determine first thing in the morning that ,today, you will put your nose to the grindstone ,and finish those jobs that have just got to be done! Out you go....... in my case to my workshop to finish some arty -farty wood works.......and something catches your eye!
Fatal!
Allready,prevarication is on the move!
Brambles ,ripe and just ready!
Someone of sterner stuff would have walked doggedly on to the workshop ; but I am not he. And in my new found capacity of master- baker the thought of a bramble and apple pie just too irresistable!
So the morning ended up in the bramble patch !
Should feel guilty ,but not only did I have enough for the pie ,but now have 2 bottles of bramble gin and 2 bottles of bramble vodka. That are allready a lovely shade of pink.....soon ( Chrismas!) hopefully to be a lovely claret red!
And what about the arty-farty ,I hear you cry!
Ah ,well....tomorrow I will...............
