"Stop looking at street level, you need to look UP!"

The beauty of Madrid is in its stunning architecture so I'm thankful that Ingrid will not let me miss it- although I fear my photos don't do it justice. Today we visited a couple of art galleries, firstly Caixa Forum which had a great exhibition on George Méliès and then the Museo del Prado which which had a lot of portraits and famous paintings.

We then went to the Plaza de Mayo and had a take away 'pasty' which which was gross. No comparison to a Cornish. So we had to get cakes too to help soften our disappointment.
