What a view!
Up and out early today. It was only in the upper 50’s this morning when I left the house. It was brisk, but with plenty of sunshine. I am loving this fall weather. It is good for sleeping at night and good for keeping your energy up during the day. Well, the brisk air with a healthy dose of coffee too.
I went to a different area of the coast today to get my fix of fresh air and view of the ocean. I have my favorite spots and during the summer, I do not really like to deviate from them but off-season it is time for exploring. I went with my sister to Sea Girt, which is a nice coastal town with a great walking boardwalk and a beautiful little gazebo at the start of the boardwalk where I took this shot. I walked into the gazebo and stood there for all of a few seconds before I decided it was perfect for my blip.
It was a triple window view onto the sea! How could I possibly top that? Especially on a day as clear as this one. We had stopped for coffee on the way over to the beach so we sat in the gazebo and sipped our coffee while looking alternately at the people walking by and the sea. It was breezy and cool and we held out there for a long as we could but we were not really dressed as warm as we needed to be so we had to leave after about an hour.
We had another visit to the salt cave, as it’s called. The Himalayan salt cave is a mineral rich retreat. It is the perfect setting for healing. Here is what I can tell you about it. It was the best nap I have ever had. I am hopeful that it has healing benefits but for me the forced relaxation is what it’s all about.
