Kilmt Ceiling
14 hours of filming. Fun but tiring.
We spent the whole morning working in the Ceremonial Hall of the University of Vienna. The ceiling in here has three panels that once held masterworks by Gustav Klimt, commissioned to celebrate the achievements of the University's faculties of medicine, law, and philosophy. The originals were destroyed in the closing days of the Second World War, and in their place are large black & white reproductions -- no colour photos of the originals exist to take a reference from.
Klimt is one of my favourite artists, so it was good to spend time here.
