Coastal Grizzly

Today we saw five grizzlies on a river outside of Haines, Alaska. There were a mom and her cub quite close to us, and three others across the river, all feeding on salmon. It was fun to see the grizzlies in a habitat so different from the one I posted in Denali. Today I am grateful for the warmth of the ship after a day in the cold mist!
