Tucked up in a feather lined nest
A little welcome swallow up under the eaves, with a nest lined with white feathers, obviously not swallow feathers, but some that've been found and carried back.
I saw them further along the road about 2 weeks ago collecting damp soil to build the nest with - it takes so many flights each one carrying a tiny piece of mud to construct the nest. Which is why it made me very cross when at another place I'd seen them building someone had gone out and knocked the nests down, there were several there.
