Grass shadows

No, it's not a big furry caterpillar. Our city council likes to spend our money planting stuff. These are a couple of rows of the exotic grasses they like, and they cast rather a nice shadow this morning when I walked past them. The road cone is there to remind us that we are in Christchurch.
