The sundial at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens west of Johannesburg.
I led an outing of our bird club to the gardens this morning. 17 members joined me, and our final tally was 61 species recorded, among these were: Verreaux's Eagles; Black-chested Snake-eagle; Greater Double-collared Sunbird; Green-backed Heron and Bokmakerie.
The weather was perfect, and made for a most enjoyable morning.
