The reluctant Hibiscus

This Hibiscus was growing in our garden when we moved in over 30 yrs ago, it was a pathetic looking little bush and I moved it around the garden to different locations over the years but it never grew any bigger or flowered,

And to make matters worse I gave a cutting to Doffy and after a short time hers flowered (it's those green fingers she has)

But a couple of years ago mine suddenly put on a growth spurt and flowers appeared, a bit small & bedraggled but this year it has blossomed so to speak.
