Yeah!! Today is a .......

...... Red letter Admiral day!!!

We had sunshine this morning!!!! This meant that the garden was once more buzzing with bees & butterflies! There were several Small Tortoiseshell on the Buddleia ...... then I noticed this!!!

Only the second time this year I have seen a Red Admiral in the garden ...... & what a perfect specimen it is! So there was no way I was going to miss this opportunity for a blip!

At first all I could get were shots of it with it's wings closed ....... then success! It spread it's wings wide ...... so here is today's offering ..... do hope you like it :-)
