The J1 and portraits

Wednesday is our walking day, i.e. our regular walking group walking day, as opposed to all the other days we walk. Ian, Haltwhistle born and bred, took us of a 9+ miler from Greenhead, meandering around the countryside. He knows every different path, track and right of way, so you always feel as though you have been on a new route when he leads. 24 of us went out and the weather was pretty kind, with only intermittent showers.

Back in the Greenhead Hotel for refreshments, I realised that I had no blip worth posting. Julie arrived, having gone on the short walk and kindly smiled for the camera across the table. She is one of the Superlative Seven in our group, who all celebrate their 70th birthdays next year. They are planning a big joint party.

I felt some resonance with Kendall's blip from yesterday.

Ready to flop, but still need to sort out itinerary for Delhi.......
