The city bridge of Kampen is traditionally the connection over the IJssel between the territories of the Dutch municipality. The historic city is situated on the south bank of the river IJssel. This town bridge is popularly referred to as the old bridge, the current bridge was designed by Zwarts & Jansma Architects and was completed in 2001. The construction costs amounted to approximately € 15 million. The pedestrian section of the bridge is separated from the roadway by a glass railing (Wikipedia)
