Gone By Date

I bought these apricots a few weeks ago meaning to gently poach them to bring out the flavour. Have been keeping an eye on them to make sure they were not going bad. I got them out to day and apart from two with very slight bruises they are all perfectly fine. Best Before Date 30th July. What a crime to throw two punnets of apricots out! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I'm recovering from a !0.30 a.m to 12.30 a.m day yesterday. Great semi final in the morning and final in the afternoon followed by a delicious barbeque and evening with lots of laughs.
